We’re sorry some customers in Icklesham, Winchelsea Town and Guestling are currently experiencing either low pressure or are without water this afternoon.
Our teams are tackling two bursts on our network east of Hastings, the first burst is in the Buckswood area close to the A259 and the second is near Butchers Lane near Guestling.
Customers impacted by the burst close to the A259 in Icklesham, Guestling and Winchelsea Town should see water return but intermittently as we are using tankers to inject water into the network. Our teams continue to work on repairing burst.
A second leak on our network near Butchers Lane, Hastings has impacted more than 100 customers in Guestling. We will provide an update on the repair when we have a clearer idea of how long it will take.
We will be delivering bottled water to all customers impacted by this
second burst in Guestling today along with all our vulnerable customers who are on Priority Services Register today who are affected by both bursts.

The burst near the A259 is impacting around 1,000 customers in Icklesham, Guestling and Winchelsea Town. Our teams are at the site of the leak repairing it, and we expect this to be finished within a few hours.
A second leak on our network near Butchers Lane, Hastings has impacted more than 100 customers in Guestling. We expect the repair to be completed by early afternoon.
We will be delivering water to all of our vulnerable customers who are on Priority Services Register today who are affected as we work to fix both of the leaks.
